Hope and Spencer

The Rivertree Lodge | Breckenridge Colorado

One thing about living in Colorado is that you can never predict the weather. This wedding season has been full of rain clouds and showers but on  this wedding day it POURED almost the entire wedding! Luckily Hope and Spencer are one of those couples who refused to let anything ruin there day, so we moved on and had the ceremony, in the rain…. hey nothing wrong with umbrellas! We also had a lot of umbrella help during the family formals, basically we just had to count to three, throw the umbrellas behind and out of view and them grab them again as soon as we got the shot! Improvisation at its finest!

Hope and Spencer had their wedding at a newer Breckenridge wedding venue, the Rivertree lodge. And it made for the sweetest “backyard wedding” setting right next to a gorgeous river! My favorite part of this day was the light in Spencer’s eyes. I remember glancing over during Hope’s first dance with her father and seeing Spencer sitting in a group of socializing people while he was completely captivated watching his bride dance.  And, um, his ” i’m not going to cry scrunchy face” was too adorable saying his vows to Hope.

It was such an honor to be a part of this special day, congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs!
