The most popular and sought out Colorado Engagement photos are during fall color season! Ever wanted that magical light beaming through yellow aspen trees? It’s possible every late September-Early October in the Colorado Mountains!
Engagement sessions are a wonderful opportunity to meet and see how the process works before the wedding day. And oh my gosh are they fun! I love when my clients are so comfortable with me their personalities are practically tangible on film. Madison and Alex met at DU and are both Clinical Psychologists. They wanted to incorporate their “nerdyness” and included several of their educational books. Alex serenaded Madison reading one of his favorite texts “Clinical Interviewing” , and playing her sweet notes on an acoustic guitar. Of course, while enjoying their Bristol Brewery beers (a local brewery in Colorado Springs and one of my favorites)!
Fall colors can be quite the guessing game for Colorado engagement sessions. Every year is different. All areas of Colorado peak at different times, and the yearly precipitation and fall weather will determine when they start/stop changing colors. My favorites are the aspen trees of course. I am so glad Madison and Alex agreed to come south for their engagement session, as most request the summit county or Denver surrounding areas. San Isabel Forest is one of my favorite hidden gems. This lake is a Colorado wedding and engagement photographer’s dream. It was perfection!
