Colorado Mountain Wedding

Vail, Colorado takes my breath away every time! I love photographing weddings in Summit County along with Keystone, Breckenridge, and Beaver Creek! There is just something special about Colorado destination weddings. Colorado is very special to Ben and Sarah which is why they decided to have a Christmas wedding in Vail. All of their family and friends came from all over the US to share this special day with them, and the result was spectacular!

What I loved seeing the most was the confidence Ben and Sarah carried. There was not an ounce of nervousness when I spoke with them prior to seeing each other. I loved catching a few moments during the ceremony  where they both had such a serene expression on their faces, and they would look at each other so calmly as if they could say ” This is our moment”.

Sarah used to be a ski instructor at Vail mountain, so of course we had to ride the gondola up for some mountain top portraits! We had all hoped for a fresh blanket of snow but instead had warm weather and sunny skies! Can’t argue with that! I absolutely loved all the little details such as antler pieces, evergreen velvet  heels, faux fur shoulder wraps, a tree engraved cake, pine cones, and everything winter! It was a simple winter elegance at the Sonnenalp.

Jason and Nicole, thank you for entrusting me with your precious memories, it was truly a pleasure! Congratulations to you both!
